Alberta High-speed Rail's service will provide unparalleled service to passengers. Fast, safe, efficient and economical, travel time between Calgary and Edmonton will take just 84 minutes - half the time it takes now by air or automobile. Hourly departures in both directions will be offered from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Comfortable and practical; passengers will be able to use the train as their "office on rails", in air-conditioned comfort, complete with internet and cell-phone access with power outlets at their seats. Satellite radio and television will be available for the more casual traveler. Food and beverage service will be provided in a Bistro-like environment.

High platform boarding and disembarking as well as the modern interior design of the trains, will ensure accessibility for all. Stations will be completely enclosed to provide a year round climate controlled waiting area for passengers. Reservations will be available on-line and self-serve ticket machines will be located at the stations.

AHSR will move people along the Edmonton-Red Deer-Calgary corridor, cutting the travel time in half at an average one-way ticket price of $85. High-Speed rail will offer safe, reliable, comfortable, all-weather and economical transportation for 21st century Albertans.
